Inspired by the best-selling book and blog, Humans of New York , Dundee film maker and photographer, Dylan Drummond decided to try to capture the Dundonian spirit in pictures.
The focus is very much on what people have to say rather than who they are
He explores the streets taking pictures and collecting quotes and short stories from people he and his camera encounter on their journeys. They may live in the city or surrounding area or are just visiting at the time. All remain anonymous as the focus is very much on what people have to say rather than who they are.
Dylan says that he wants to demonstrate that within his small city there are wonderful things going on, people with stories and experiences to share and people doing extraordinary things for their community.
