The House of an Art Lover is a haven for, well, art lovers!
Charles Rennie Mackintosh designed the house “for someone with style and sophistication” in 1901. A century later it was built as an homage to his art.
You can visit House of an Art Lover in Bellahouston Park in Glasgow.
The centre regularly hosts artist talks and touring exhibitions. The pavilion studio is also a space for artists at varying stages in their career to create and present their work.
The house’s exterior is a classic example of traditional Mackintosh, as is the interior’s contemporary theme. You can marvel at the many feats of architecture, many trying to solve issues with the original basic sketches.
It is now a popular venue for weddings, private functions and also corporate events.
The House of Art Lover website gives a full breakdown of the services it offers here.
