Woodland Lights
Beautiful lighting effects and projections can be discovered in Balfron Woods with Reflections, a Woodland Light Experience which opens on Wednesday, October 25. Little ones will enjoy the storytelling hut, too!
Tequila Festival!
If tequila’s your tipple then don’t miss the Tequila Festival at Glasgow’s Barrowland Ballroom, where you can sample over 30 different tequilas while listening to live music and DJs. Saturday, October 21.
Samhuinn Fire Fest
On Saturday, October 21, join a torchlight procession along the Royal Mile with wild drumming, acrobatics and fire-dancing from the Beltance Fire Society to celebrate the end of summer and welcome the onset of winter.
Tiree Wave Classic
The longest-running professional windsurfing event in the world has been on this week on the waters off Tiree, and on Friday, October 20, the prize-giving and after party are open to the public! Head down to An Talla for entertainment from Ceilidh band Sean MacCallum and the Munn Bros.
Forest Fest
Celebrate the customs and cultures of the forest in Tweed Valley from Saturday, October 21, with events that include a Carvefest and conker championships. Don’t miss the Wood Market at Peebles Community Centre either with crafters all across the country.
Monarch of the Glen
For lovers of the BBC series set in the fictional Glen Bogle, head to Pitlochry Festival Theatre! Compton Mackenzie’s classic has been adapted for the stage and you can catch the world premiere from Thursday, October 26, onwards.
