Veg Out!
After a hugely successful inaugural festival last year, Vegfest Scotland is back for round two! At Glasgow’s SECC on Saturday, December 3, and Sunday 4, you can find the tastiest and healthiest vegan food around.
Street of Light
Edinburgh’s Street of Light is also back again, but this time in the west end of George Street. It’s a free event, but you do need to book in advance to get enough time to properly appreciate the beautiful light installation.
Darvel Music
Darvel Winter Music Festival is celebrating its 15th anniversary this year across December 2 & 3 with a a fantastic line-up, including Skerryvore and the brilliantly named Socks In The Frying Pan.
Best of the Borders
The Borders Winter Festival runs across December 3 & 4 with exhibitions, galleries, markets and fests right across the area. Plus, buy a ticket on the Borders Railway and get free public transport on the buses when you get there!
Christmas Fair
From Saturday, December 3, head down to the Dundee Ethical Christmas Fair in the city square for your Christmas shopping. The stalls will be overflowing with ethically-sourced and locally-made arts and crafts.
Santa Dash
If you’re about in Edinburgh on Sunday, Dec 4, look out for the Santas! The annual Santa Dash fundraiser runs are open to all with a Santa costume. Register to join the race, or simply head along to watch!
Highland Photography
On Monday, December 5, in the Boat of Garten Community Centre, Landscape Photographer James Gordon will take an audience on a photo journey through the Scottish Highlands with advice on getting the perfect shot.
George’s Marvellous Medicine
The Dundee Rep ensemble are back with another classic Roald Dahl tale reimagined for the stage. It’s on from now until the end of December, but book fast!
