Cameron McNeish
Through my books, magazine articles and regular television appearances I am one of Scotland’s best known outdoor commentators.
I live in the shadow of the Cairngorms with my wife Gina and I have climbed, backpacked and explored in many remote locations throughout the world. But it’s the hills and wild places of Scotland that have been my biggest inspiration.
I am currently President of the Backpackers Club, Vice President of Ramblers Scotland, Patron of Mountain Aid and Patron of Orienteering Scotland. I am an Honorary Fellow of the Royal Scottish Geographical Society and was recently given a lifetime achievement award by PPA (Periodical Publishers Association) Scotland. www.cameronmcneish.co.uk
