Yes, chances are you’ve been there. Kilchurn is an absolute masterpiece. With its lochside location and backed by a superb Argyll landscape, it makes for the perfect Highland image.
Originally dating back to the 14th Century, the castle has been abandoned since being dramatically struck by lightning in 1760. Oh to have been in the right place with your point-and-shoot on that night.
