The Real Mary King’s Close Paranormal Investigation

One of Edinburgh’s most unique historical sites, The Real Mary King’s Close is to broadcast its first-ever live and interactive paranormal investigation on Friday, 13th November at 8pm. The five-star social history attraction, located underneath the Royal Mile, has teamed up with Scottish Paranormal to conduct the investigation that will take place in the uniquely preserved 17th-century streets. Scottish Paranormal, has investigated claims of all unearthly occurrences across Scotland for the past 15 years. The talented guides of the attraction will be providing the historical background for the investigation, delving into Edinburgh’s darkest tales.

The virtual event will last 1 hour and 45 minutes and is priced at £13.13.

The Village School

Fancy learning something new from your own home? The Village School have you covered! They’re running plenty of classes from photography to soap making, music production to starting a business. One of the most exciting classes is a baking class, taught by Flora Shedden, who became the youngest ever Great British Bake Off semi-finalist in 2015 at 19. Flora owns the Aran Bakery in Dunkeld, and this is a great chance to be taught how to bake the professional way!

Scotland From The Sky

This online exhibition from Historic Environment Scotland shows Scotland from above, from the comfort of your own home. The exhibition has an amazing array of photographs from across the country. This is a great opportunity to see how Scotland’s landscape has evolved over the years, seeing the country in a new light. There are three separate exhibition spaces to enjoy, alongside a detailed blog and a shop, to buy items from the exhibition.
