Jousting Spectacular
Linlithgow Palace is hosting a mediaeval jousting tournament on Saturday, July 4 and Sunday, 5. Visitors can cheer their chosen knight to glory during the main clashes, and watch the fascinating foot combat and living history displays.

Take To The Water
Pinkston Panthers is Glasgow’s new canoe slalom club, established by 12-times Scottish Champion, Stewart Pitt. From Monday, July 6 they’re offering great kayaking summer classes for complete beginners – and also for those with a little more paddle power.
SuperBikes!
The biggest bike race meeting of the year, the MCE British Superbike Championship, is making its annual journey north to Knockhill for July 3 – 5. Trade stands, merchandise and on-site camping make this a cracking weekend full of live action.
Weighing Anchor
Traditional wooden boats will flock to Portsoy’s 17th century harbour to take part in the Scottish Traditional Boat Festival, July 4 – 5. Visitors can try restoring traditional vessels, learning how to sail a coracle and watch the exciting open seas regatta.
Gala Day
The annual Broughty Ferry Gala sees a week-long summer festival, starting with the Gala Fête on Sunday, July 5 at the Castle Green. Pop along 1pm – 5pm for games, stalls and hotdogs from Scott Bros, as well as other treats!
