Seeking Wildlife Heroes for Nature of Scotland Awards

RSPB Scotland’s Nature of Scotland Awards
are now open for entry!

In the lead up to the sixth annual Nature of Scotland Awards, the RSPB Scotland are searching for this year’s Wildlife Heroes.

Individuals, businesses, community groups, schools and volunteers with a strong commitment to nature and wildlife are all encouraged to enter.

Comedian and avid birdwatcher, Bill Bailey, who has a keen interest in conservation, is championing the awards this year. Although he’s not Scottish himself, Bill is involved in the battle to protect and preserve what he called “Scotland’s previous natural heritage”.

“I love nature and being in the outdoors, and Scotland’s the perfect place to enjoy both,” he said. “It’s a country of beautiful wild places and abundant wildlife, but there are growing challenges which put these under real threat.”
